1. Overview

MADB Solutions (“we”, “us”, or “our”) built NearSnap as a 100% offline, peer-to-peer (P2P) local network utility application. NearSnap allows users to share photos, photo albums, and galleries directly between devices connected to the same local Wi-Fi network.

All photo transfers, streaming, and connection handshakes occur exclusively between your devices over your local area network (LAN). No data ever leaves your local network, and no data is uploaded to cloud servers or third parties.

2. Information Collection and Usage

NearSnap does not collect, harvest, store, transmit, or monetize any personal information, usage analytics, device identifiers, or user content.

Local Network / Wi-Fi State (ACCESS_WIFI_STATE, INTERNET) Required to bind a local HTTP server socket on your device and enable peer discovery over your Wi-Fi network. INTERNET permission is used solely for local socket communication; no external web requests are made.
